1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?
Yes, a mermaid who sings sailors to their death. Lovely, eh?
2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?
During the meeting with Timothy’s school staff. I felt like a huge idiot too.
3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?
Sometimes. I am right handed but write with a lefty slant, which confuses people… and I admit I sometimes enjoy that.
4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT?
I am not a huge lunch meat fan. If I had to pick I guess roast beef, but only the very expensive super yummy kind. None of that plastic-y nasty stuff they try to pass off as roast beef under piles of gravy at that horrid fast food place.
5. DO YOU HAVE ANY KIDS?
Yes, the afore mentioned Odd Timothy and Super Soccer Star Sarah.
6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU?
Most likely not, I annoy myself quite a bit.
7. DO YOU USE SARCASM?
Sarcasm is the wit of fools, so of course!
8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS?
Yes.
9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP?
Only on one of those TV game shows for piles of cash since thus far no one has perished on one as far as I know.
10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL?
Unlike lunch meat, I am a huge cereal fan! I like almost all cereal from oatmeal and cream of wheat to Lucky Charms and Boo Berry. Mmmmm Boo Berry… Ahem, with organic milk of course.
11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF?
Ah, I suppose I would if I wore shoes with laces. Who am I kidding? I still would not.
12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG?
I can crochet plastic bags into some semblance of a pin holder. That has to count for something.
13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM?
Pistachio and vanilla. No, black walnut or chocolate. No, cashew cranberry. Oh hell, just give me all 31 flavors and I’m good.
14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE?
Their smile (or lack thereof)

Dark pink I guess… I am so wishy washy I swear.
16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF?
Oh Lord I could go on and on about this one. Today it would be my giant baby belly.

I miss my awesome Gramma who turned 91 yesterday and lives all the way on the other coast. Happy Birthday Gramma!
18. WHAT COLOR PANTS AND SHOES ARE YOU WEARING?
I am not wearing shoes OR pants! Ha! I am barefoot and wearing blue pajama shorts.
19. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE?
Roasted chicken, sauteed zucchini, red peppers and onions, a baked potato with sour cream, butter and chives and a cherry tomato. You know, to fill my tomato quotient for the day.
20. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW?
The computer tower making weird grinding noises and Aldo watching some stupid reality show. I wonder if they have bungee jumping on it…
21. IF YOU WHERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE?
Could I be one of those smelly crayons? I would love to be daffodil (even though most real daffodils smell terrible, the Crayola version is a pretty sunny yellow and smells nice).
22. FAVORITE SMELLS?
The kid’s hair. The air after a summer storm or right before it snows. Puppy breath. Toasted marshmallows. Roasting chicken and gravy. The burst of summer you get when you open a can of homemade tomatoes in the dead of winter. The dirt in the garden.
23. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE?
24. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH?
Ugh, must I? I pick Sarah’s soccer team only because I am obligated to watch.
25. HAIR COLOR?
Brownish with auburn highlights.
26. EYE COLOR?
Fading brown.
27. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS?
Only when I am not wearing my glasses or sleeping.
28. FAVORITE FOOD?
I try not to discriminate because I love food, but really anything chocolate is good with me. Or Mexican.

Happy endings, but nothing too sappy.
30. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED?
Cheaper by the Dozen. Again. With the kids.

Tan.

Spring.

Hugs. Unless we are talking chocolate, then kisses.

Once again, you can’t go wrong with chocolate.

A Simpsons re-run.

Aldo playing guitar when he thinks I am not listening. The kids playing and laughing. Ralphie “talking”. The almost silence when I come home early and am alone.

Beatles.
40. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME?
San Francisco.
41. DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT?
I can create fabulous things out of felt and make the dogs and children obey my every word. Ok, maybe just the felt thing. Oh, and I can grow food, that’s pretty cool.

New Jersey. Dare I say more?
Ok, now that you know more than you needed to ever know about me I am going to get another glass of wine (do they make wine flavored ice cream? That might be good…) and go to bed!

Somehow I had no idea you were quite that into chocolate. It isn’t that time of the month is it?

I totally cry every time I have a meeting at Jeffrey’s school. And then I eat chocolate.

I eat chocolate when I’m happy, when I’m sad. Any time is chocolate time in my view. So great to learn more about you – you have a wonderful sense of humour!
